Breath
In
and
out,
in and
out,
in
and out.
In and out,
tree and me,
we breathe one
another.
Lung to leaf,
she inhales
my breath to build
her body.
Bronchioles branch,
delivering
her gift to all
my cells.
Over time,
our beings become
composed one of
the other.

I like it.
Thanks!
I’d like to put that to music. Better than anything I ever wrote.
Thanks, Paul! Go for it!! If you feel so inspired. I tried to write it in the rhythm of breathing.
And that photo is sublime!
