A Blessing

As you set out
on the path ahead,
may the difficulties

and compassion.

be channeled
into alert determination.

May self-doubt recede
so that all
that is good and true
in you
may flourish.

May the wisdom
and labor of those
who walked this path
before you
guide your footsteps.

seen and unseen,
human and divine,
