i surrender

which is not to say
that i give up
but that
i am going to stop
resisting reality
stop fighting
what will not change
at least not
by my hand
and instead
let go
find my own path
through
i choose hope again
i seek light again
and most of all
i listen
for Your whisper again
beneath the chaos
i want my thoughts
my actions
to grow from here
