Daily Prayer

It is here
in these quiet
pre-dawn moments
that I have come
to discover
the Kingdom of Heaven
within.

At Your feet
I set my burdens
then raise my heart
open,
breathe in healing Light,
before I step
into the day.

Create in me
a clean heart,
renew a right spirit
connected always
to You,
the Poem
my words
cannot contain.
